Your selected image stays
on your device.
No account or identifiers
Version 1 does not ask for an account, name, email address, phone number, mailing address, Social Security number, or IRS login.
PhotosPicker is limited
Apple’s PhotosPicker gives the app access only to the image you choose. The app does not request access to browse your full photo library.
Recognition stays local
The selected image is read in memory with Apple’s Vision framework on the device. The image and recognized text are not transmitted to Tax Letter Scan, Cited Authorities LLC, or another server.
No persistence
The selected image and recognized text are used only for the current scan and released after the scan completes, is cancelled, or is reset. The app does not save them to a database, file, analytics system, or cloud service.
No tracking or commerce
Version 1 has no analytics SDK, advertising identifier, tracking technology, account system, document upload, or in-app purchase.
