You may include the app version, device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Do not attach or paste an IRS notice, photo, Social Security number, tax return, account transcript, payment information, or other confidential tax information.

The app performs text recognition on-device and cannot interpret your facts, recommend a response, calculate or monitor a deadline, communicate with the IRS, or provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. The paper notice and current official instructions control.
